By installing or using FleXcel ("the Add-in"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Add-in.

2. Description of Service

FleXcel is an AI-powered Microsoft Excel add-in that provides:

• Natural language chat assistance for Excel tasks
• Formula creation, explanation, and improvement
• Data analysis and visualization suggestions
• Data cleaning and validation tools

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FleXcel. By using the Add-in, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Account and Usage

• The Add-in uses your Microsoft account email for identification
• Usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Add-in for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Reverse engineer or decompile the Add-in
• Use automated tools to access the service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the Add-in to process sensitive personal data (SSN, financial account numbers, health information) without appropriate safeguards

6. AI-Generated Content

Important disclaimers regarding AI assistance:

• AI responses are provided "as-is" and may contain errors
• You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated formulas before use
• Do not rely on AI suggestions for critical financial, legal, or medical decisions
• AI outputs should be verified against your requirements

7. Intellectual Property

• FleXcel and its original content are owned by FleXcel and protected by intellectual property laws
• You retain ownership of your Excel data and content
• AI-generated suggestions may be freely used in your work

8. Service Availability

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
• Scheduled maintenance will be communicated when possible

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• FleXcel is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for data loss resulting from your use of AI suggestions

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FleXcel from any claims arising from your use of the Add-in or violation of these terms.

11. Termination

• You may stop using the Add-in at any time by uninstalling it
• We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these terms
• Upon termination, your local data remains on your device

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated through the Add-in or email.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where FleXcel operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
